Single Cactus opuntia ficus-indica prickly pear pad approx. 4 inches long and 3 inches wide but may be a bit larger
Freshly cut, will callous over in the mail and be ready to plant
Just plant approx. 2 inches deep in compost perlite mix, water and then water when dry
The last picture shows a pad about 2 months after planting, you can see a new pad forming
TAKE CARE when handling as they have little spines that will detach, they can be removed with tweezers but its better not to have to go that route
We lift the pads with thick card so planting is easy
Once established they grow quite quickly
